Abigail Ludden
Graphic Designer
I have always had a creative mind. As my creativity developed I gained an interest in design, and throughout my bachelors I took a particular interest in typography.
My degree helped me gain skills and understanding in graphic design, learning how to quickly and effectivly problem solve, communicate, and to pay close attention to details without forgetting the bigger picture.
I was able to put these skills into practice at my design placement where I furthered my industry experience and practical skills.
I hope to develop these skills and attain new ones as part of my career.
Assistant Manager
Unique Gifts and Interiors
2011 - 2014
Initially working as a sales advisor helping customers and working the shop floor, I was seen as a hard working, reliable and motivated person and was promoted to assistant manager. As the company developed I continued to expand my knowledge and experience in all the departments.
Being part of such a varied store encouraged me to become familiar with a wide variety of retail platforms from interior furniture and accessories, to more specalised departments like bridal, womens occassion fashion and accessories.
Whilst working here I gained valuable skills such as team work, customer relations, and being a quick learner.
Work Eperience Placement
Baseline Creative
2011
After completing my BA (Hons) in Graphic Design I aquired a short term placement at a local design studio working on live projects. I gained valuable experience working in the industry where I was able to put into action the skills I developed through university. If you would like to see examples of my work please contact me.
